CMA Gala 2010
On Saturday, Oct 23 the CMA hosted their annual gala and fundraiser at Max and Dylans. The event was an enourmous success! Thanks to everyone who made the event successful by either attending or making a financial contribution. The CMA is very grateful to all of their community partners and local businesses who continue to generously support them. In addition to over 200 guests, the CMA was also joined by Governor Deval Patrick's wife, Diane, Lt. Governor Tim Murray, State Rep. Eugene O'Flaherty, State Senator Sal DiDomenico, City Councilor Sal LaMattina, City Councilors At Large Ayanna Pressley and John Connolly and candidate for State Auditor Suzanne Bump. Other special guests included celebrity comedian and our live auctioneer Tony V, and Karson Tager Mix 104.1 DJ. With the funds raised the CMA will continue to offer college and camp fundraisers, and support activities and organizations which contribute to the vibrancy of our community. |

Touch a Truck
April 2008
The Charlestown Mothers Association spearheaded an amazing event lead by member Adrienne Groff. Touch a Truck was an opportunity for families to come together and experience many forms of transportation - Coast Guard boats, cement mixers, tow trucks, buses and much, much more. The event's reach extended well beyond the Charlestown community as more than 2,000 people were there to share in the fun. |
