      We have Plan B for Marathon Daffodils 2020…the BAA Marathon is postponed until September however…PASS THE WORD

      We are distributing thousands of Marathon Daffodils to the Boston area participating hospitals in a tribute to the medical community, and a gesture to Boston Strong, this Friday, 4/17/20.

      We ask that you create a Marathon Daffodil coloring page or garden and place in your windows, and around your doors. Be creative!  See attached.   

      It would be really awesome if Charlestown Families could show their support and color and hang a daffodil.

      Hey learners,

      First off, Happy New Year! I’m writing today with some very exciting news— we just launched a brand new happiness course created just for teenagers. It’s called “The Science of Well-being for Teens.”

       You can learn more and enroll here.

      Ever since we first launched “The Science of Well-Being” course back in 2018, I’ve heard from high school students, teachers, and parents, all asking when a version of the class would be available for younger learners. And now, it’s finally here! The new six-week class was created specifically for middle and high school students and will teach them a whole bunch of strategies they can use to reduce stress and feel happier. And it’s totally free!

      Thanks for helping us share strategies that can help the next generation feel better. We’d love it if you could share this news with the teachers and teens in your life.

Silvia has taken care of my son since he was 9 months old and has been an amazing addition to our family over the last couple years. She’s unbelievably reliable, nurturing, responsible, has a great network of local nanny friends to setup playdates, ventures all over the city to create fun-filled days, and the list goes on. Silvia is incredibly flexible and will help out in any way that she can to support your child(ren) and family. We’re so sad that our time with Silvia has come to an end, and any family would be extremely fortunate to have her.     • Join Our Nanny Share!

      Hi!

      We have a WONDERFUL nanny for our 1 year old, and would love to have another family join us for a nanny share! Our daughter is extremely social and we feel it would be in her best interest to have another kiddo join us during the day. Our nanny is full time (currently 830-430 M-F, but we can do 8-5 or 9-5 or whatever works best for you) and provides care in our home in Charlestown. We are open to it being in your home, if you prefer, as long as you have parking for Angie (our nanny.) We live off Medford St, near where Jenny’s Pizza used to be.

      The share rate is $34/hour ($17/family) and again, is full time. Angie is bilingual, reads, plays music, takes our girl to music class, the library and park. They spend the majority of their time outside getting lots of play and exercise.

      Our girl just turned 1, and we are looking for someone around her age to join that way naps and schedules are similar, as are milestones and that the kiddos can play together.

    • Looking For A Kiddo/Family For Our Nanny Share!

      Hi, Ladies!

      We currently have a nanny share with a wonderful family, but as of July they’ll be having a family member watch their kiddo instead. (This has been their plan all along- It’s not a result of the Nanny’s performance.) So, we are looking to add a kiddo to our nanny share come July or August

      Our Nanny is absolutely fantastic and super loved by both kiddos. She’s hands-on, was formally an au-pair, and is bi-lingual. She’s clean and comes to one of our homes, has her own car. She works 830-430 M-F. We are hoping for a kiddo to join us long term and commit to our Nanny, and prefer this is not a short term solution.

      Our daughter is 9 months old, and we are hoping to get a kiddo at about the same age or milestones for the kiddos’ benefits. We can host full time in our home or in yours, or we can alternate. All of us are completely flexible.

She speaks fluent English and Portuguese and has done so much to help develop my son’s language/communication skills. She plans a stimulating schedule for the children with music, art classes and playdates every week. Every day my son runs to the window excited see his nanny and eager to start their day. She been work with Charlestown families for  over 7 years and is experienced with children from 3 months-5 years.
